“I was impressed by the style of teaching. The teacher teaches from her heart” — Shirin
When Tajweed is taught clearly and visually, it becomes easy to understand — and even easier to love.
I created Nuurah Institute because I wanted there to be a space where students could learn Tajweed without feeling overwhelmed.
For too long, Tajweed has been taught in a way that feels heavy — filled with theory, terminology, and complex explanations that leave many students unsure of how to apply what they’ve learned. But Tajweed isn’t meant to feel complicated. It’s meant to be as simple and beautiful as the Qur’an itself.
As a visual learner, I’ve always found that I understand best when I can see how something works — not just read about it. Yet, most Tajweed books rely on dense text without enough visuals or flowcharts to make the learning process clear.
That’s why I built Nuurah Institute — to make the process of learning Tajweed simple.
Here, lessons are designed to be visual, simple, and digestible, so that every student — no matter her background — can truly grasp and apply what she learns.
My goal is to make Tajweed accessible to everyone at every level and to show that learning the rules of recitation can be both easy and deeply rewarding.
Because when Tajweed is taught with clarity, it doesn’t just improve how you recite — it transforms how you connect with the Qur’an.
Not at all. The Tajweed course starts from the foundations, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as students who want to strengthen their understanding of Tajweed and refine their recitation.
The course combines pre-recorded lessons with weekly live group sessions. You can study the lessons at your own pace and then join the live sessions for recitation practice, correction, and Q&A with your teacher.
We simplify Tajweed using visuals, diagrams, and step-by-step explanations — making it easier to understand and apply. Our teaching style is warm, supportive, and focused on helping you recite with confidence.
The programs is taught by Ustadha Nasra, a certified Tajweed teacher with 10 years of teaching experience and a passion to make Tajweed simple, visual, and easy to apply.
